Consecutive Interpreting
Consecutive Interpreting is the process of verbally translating and delivering a message every couple of sentences, thereby being the only speaker delivering the translation. There is no crossover speaking.
Consecutive Interpreting is used primarily for small meetings, during hands-on instruction, or in training in a manufacturing environment. It requires the interpreter have a finely-honed ability to develop good memory skills in order to be able to interpret accurately and fully. Consecutive interpreting also works well in small court room settings and in depositions.
FLS interpreters are always native speakers of the target language, and are experienced Subject Matter Experts.
